Description:
The CERN CVMFS stratum 1 service cvmfs-stratum-one.cern.ch will be altered to reference a new stratum zero service also hosted at CERN. This is expected to be effectivley transparent to all CVMFS clients using any of the CVMFS stratum 1 services at CERN, RAL or BNL. CVMFS clients referencing the CERN stratum one service may see updates to contents of CVMFS repositories up to one hour sooner than previously. The stratum ones at BNL and RAL will follow with the same migration shortly.
Reason for this intervention:
To migrate CVMFS stratum 0 service to new hardware within the CERN IT computer center.
