Description:
The hardware hosting your Windows folders 'My Documents', Desktop, My Pictures, Favorites folder (your DFS Home Folder) is becoming old and needs replacement.. The migration is scheduled as follows :
- Monday 18th July 6pm to 10 pm letter d,e,f,p,q,r will be migrated
- Tuesday 19th July 6pm to 10 pm letter c,g,h,s,v will be migrated
- Wednesday 20th July 6pm to 10 pm letter j,l,m,t will be migrated
- Thursday 21st July 6pm to 10 pm letter a,b,i,n,o,u,w will be migrated
During the time of the operation (4 hours), you might face problems in writing in your personal folders (Desktop, My Documents, My pictures ...) stored under \\cern.ch\dfs\users\ To avoid any troubles, we recommend you to shut down unnecessary applications, close open files (and possibly to stop your active sessions) 15 minutes in advance.
