The IT Service Status Board (or IT SSB) web site will change on 27th June 2011 to make the content clearer and more coherent. The purpose and content structure of the site remains the same, that is, the announcement of three types of information, Incidents, Planned Interventions and Service Changes, related to Information Technology Services at CERN. However what changes is the address of the new site. The new web site will be available at: http://test-static-03.web.cern.ch/ or http://cern.ch/itssb If you have bookmarked the URL of the IT SSB web site we invite you to change it for new URL. In any case you the old URL will be automatically re-directed to the new web site in 10 seconds. You should report any problems you have with the new IT SSB via the service portal (https://cern.service-now.com/service-portal/). Simply search “SSB” and fill-in the web form “Feedback on the IT Service Status Board web site (IT SSB)”. Alternatively you can call the Service Desk on 77777. IT-UDS
The new site allows for faster publication and more coherent announcements since it now integrates a built-in and efficient workflow, thus eliminating the need of intermediate steps and a lot of manual editing work.
In addition, it ends the dependence on non supported software tools as was the case of the previous website.
