Description: 

There will be a migration this week of data of media archive servers hosting the DFS data.

This intervention will consist in :

  1. Migration of the following links:

\\cern.ch\dfs\Workspaces\a\asarriom_EN
\\cern.ch\dfs\workspaces\t\TeraCYC
\\cern.ch\dfs\Workspaces\s\SA_project
\\cern.ch\dfs\Workspaces\b\Balle
\\cern.ch\dfs\Workspaces\a\agrudiev
\\cern.ch\dfs\Workspaces\c\calviani
\\cern.ch\dfs\Workspaces\s\SPLHMISs
\\cern.ch\dfs\Workspaces\d\div_ecp
\\cern.ch\dfs\Workspaces\p\pids
\\cern.ch\dfs\Departments\AB\Groups\CO

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Please note that access to these folder will be restricted during migration.

To avoid any troubles, we recommend you to shut down your unnecessary applications, close open files 15 minutes in advance.

 If you are using your application through the DFS path (ie : \\cern.ch\dfs\... or g:\...) there will be no impact for you.

 For smb client, please update your links with the new value.  You will be able to access that information as soon as the migration will be over using the "DFS Structure information" tab on the win services site.  (https://winservices.web.cern.ch/winservices/)
