Description:
We will stop all tape activity and possibly restart all the TSM servers. This will result in failed backups and restores during this afternoon, but we'll restore everything before this evening's backups.

Reason for this intervention:
For the past couple of days we've been having problems with the tape library in building 613 that have resulted in some failed backups and restores. We're waiting for the IBM engineers to come and fix the problem, but in the meantime we plan to reset the library and the drives to see if this improves the situation.
