Description of Service Change:
Following the Oracle support policy / end of life announcement we would like to inform you that the Oracle (formerly Sun) Java 6 (1.6.X) will no more receive security and functional updates after February 2013.
We would therefore like to encourage all Scientific Linux CERN Sun Java 6 users to migrate to already provided Oracle Java 7 (1.7.X) or OpenJDK Java 6/7 before the end of February 2013.
