A Network intervention in the Computer Center will take place on
Wednesday  5th of December 2012 between 7:00 and 7:30 am

The operation will generate a 5 minute interruption of the network traffic in that window.

This will affect a series of IT Services, including:
- AFS servers afs150-afs161 and hence a broad mix of AFS projects, including ATLAS and CMS
- services with user data on AFS, e.g. many lxplus users may be affected
- acron service
- all AIS databases and applications will be impacted. See the full list at http://cern.ch/ais/apps/
- Drupal service: all sites will be unavailable
- EDMSDB/CERNDB1/ACCDB database , which will remain up but will be unavailable during the 5 minute interruption
(database aliases affected: edmsdb accdb cerndb1 jacowdb smartdb-prod dosiv2-prod )
- DB on Demand services: drupalprod03 (test and development sites), drupalprod02 (production sites),  hc_atlas, hc_cms, hc_lhcb,  hc_core, maestro, webcast,  trac_svn, piwik, nova, puppetprod, avisual, atlas_mc, Ilcdirac,  cstes1, olabpvss, copvss,  aistoold
- Licence servers for engineering tools
- SVN and CVS 
- 59 virtual machines hosted in the Service Consolidation Service hypervisors  located in Safehost will be affected by this interruption. The affected VMs are:
