Critical vulnerability in Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6,7,8 & 9

Earlier this month, a critical vulnerability in Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6,7,8 and 9 for the Windows XP and 7 platforms has been made public. An out-of-bound patch has been made available by Microsoft and was deployed on all centrally managed PCs on Monday, September 24th. No action is needed for those users.

Those, however, who manage their Windows PC themself are asked to run "Windows Update" from the "Start"-menu as soon as possible.
