Operating system upgrade on six NAS clusters

As recommended by Netapp support, and following our new Ontap os version deployment, 6 new clusters will be patched tomorrow.

Althought the upgrade should be transparent, database and application servers affected may experience connectivity hiccups. In that case, users connected to a database will loose the connection.

We will post an update on the evolution of the intervention as it progresses.

Termination comments: 
Intervention has been suspended. Not all clusters upgraded. One controller type (FAS3240) has frozen during the upgrade. This has impacted several databases ie. AISRAC, which may have impacted EDH. Oracle databases have frozen for a few minutes. No data loss should have occurred. OraceVM Hypervisors relying on the above mentioned controller have rebooted, which has impacted Drupal mysql backend for some minutes. A case to Netapp support has been opened, to follow this issue.
