On March 29th, all containers that are part of the J2EE Public Service will be upgraded to Tomcat 7, unless specific user requirement (third-party software not supported on Tomcat 7 for example).

If you have such specific requirement, please send an email to j2ee-public-service.support@cern.ch  so that we won't upgrade your container.

In order to avoid any issue after the upgrade is effective, we strongly encourage J2EEPS users to first request the upgrade of the TEST version of their application (if any) or to create a TEST version to validate the new setup.

Users can request the upgrade of their TEST containers by accessing the management page of their applications and clicking the "Request Upgrade to Tomcat 7" link.
